Ovarian Cancer Australia: Teal Support Nurse Program

The Teal Support Nurse Program is a free, national telehealth service for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer, providing ongoing support from specialist oncology/gynaecological nurses throughout diagnosis, treatment, and beyond. It acts as an extension of the medical team, helping to bridge gaps when you’re not regularly seeing your treating doctors, and offers emotional support, symptom guidance, referring to counsellors or psychologists as needed, and helping with the challenges associated with an ovarian cancer diagnosis (navigating treatment, managing symptoms, and coping with isolation). The service operates weekdays during business hours, across Australia, and can be accessed via phone, email, or referral. Phone: 1300 660 334 (Monday-Friday during business hours AET). Email: care@ovariancancer.net.au
